Gifts Presented to H.E President Submitted to Da Afghanistan Bank
Kabul, 13 April 2015: Seven items of precious gifts presented by leaders of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to H.E president Ashraf Ghani and former president H.E Hamid Karzai on their official visits to these countries were submitted to Da Afghanistan Bank to be kept and maintained as national wealth of the nation.
His Excellency Khan Afzal Hadawal acting governor and the first deputy of Da Afghanistan Bank at the time of receiving these valuable gifts, expressed that sense of patriotism and commitment to national interests allowed His Excellency to continuously hand over the gifts presented to him by leaders and presidents of friend countries to Da Afghanistan Bank to be kept and maintained as national wealth of the country.
He also added that these gifts are not only materially worth, but has high spiritual worth that can be counted as part of our country’s historic treasure.
Assadullah Salehi, head of admin and financial section of presidential office of administrative affairs who was in-charge of delivering these gifts to Da Afghanistan Bank, said that president of Islamic republic of Afghanistan H.E Mohammad Ashraf Ghani belonged these worthy gifts to Afghan nation and therefore officially handed them over to Da Afghanistan Bank in order to be preserved as national asset.
At the end, these gifts with full details and values were handed over to treasury directorate general of Da Afghanistan Bank in the presence of mass media and presidential delegation.
