Cooperation Agreement Signed between Da Afghanistan Bank, International Finance Corporation and Harakat Organization
Da Afghanistan Bank inked cooperation agreement with international finance corporation (IFC) and Harakat organization to develop regulatory framework for granting mortgage loan.
H.E Khan Afzal Hadawal acting governor and first deputy of Da Afghanistan Bank while signing this agreement said that, considering increased needs of countrymen to housing, Da Afghanistan Bank tried its best to attain a legal framework for mortgage system respondent to public needs and therefore signed this cooperation agreement with IFC and Harakat organization in order to establish necessary regulations and procedures for granting mortgage loan, lending system and comprehensive system along with sufficient conveniences.
With this agreement, besides holding training workshops for mortgage loan staff of Da Afghanistan Bank and other private banks and financial institutions, drafting and developing of other necessary regulations and procedures for lending and public awareness campaigns are deemed to be taken in to account.
